Two Fish Divers Nusa Penida is a PADI 5 Star dive centre on the beach in Batumulapan, on the north-east coast of Nusa Penida, away from the busy north-west strip where most operators are based. Two Fish Divers has run dive centres in Indonesia since 2001, and its Nusa Lembongan operation moved here in 2023. The coast faces east, partner hotels are within walking distance, and Sampalan harbour is about five minutes away by car, with fast boats from Sanur taking around 45 minutes.
Daily trips leave at about 8am for two dives and return for lunch, with a maximum of four divers per guide and dives of up to 75 minutes. Sites include Manta Point and Manta Bay, where manta rays are seen year-round, Crystal Bay, Toyapakeh, Sekolah Dasar, Pura Ped, Gamat Bay, Malibu Point, Karang Sari just off the centre, and Blue Corner, Ceningan Wall and Mangroves around Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. Mola mola season runs from about July to November, peaking from August to October, when thermoclines can drop to 18–22°C; the centre's rental wetsuits are full-length 5mm. Many sites are drift dives with strong currents, so groups are matched to experience.
PADI courses run from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water through Advanced, Rescue and specialties such as Nitrox to Divemaster internships and the IDC. At the time of writing, two morning dives cost IDR 1,825,000 from December to June and IDR 1,925,000 from July to November, a single dive IDR 1,250,000, the PADI Open Water course IDR 6,850,000 and full equipment IDR 150,000 a day, with a supplement for Manta Point. Dive-and-stay packages at La Roja Bungalows, Favorit Villas or the beachfront Alana Hotel start from IDR 4,400,000 per person for three nights and four dives. Check the website for current rates.
