Bali Hai Diving Adventures Menjangan is the north-west Bali base of Bali Hai Diving Adventures, a company that has run dive trips in Bali since 1992. It operates the PADI 5 Star watersports and dive centre on the beach within the grounds of Menjangan Dynasty Resort, a beach-camp glamping resort at Pejarakan near Pemuteran. Menjangan Island and the West Bali National Park are a short boat ride away, and the boats board directly in front of the dive centre.
Menjangan is known for deep walls that drop beyond 30 metres, calm, clear water and soft corals, sponges and gorgonian fans, with turtles and even dolphins seen regularly on trips. Certified divers can also dive the reefs by the resort, do night dives, and dive Pemuteran Bay from the shore or by boat, including muck-diving sites such as the Jetty and the Biorock reef. Guided dives run with a maximum of two divers per guide, and dive equipment, insurance, lunch and drinking water are included.
Courses run from Discover Scuba Diving (with pool training in the resort's diving pool) through PADI Open Water and Advanced Open Water to Rescue Diver, with a maximum of four students per instructor. The Open Water course takes three days, finishing with a day trip to Menjangan Island. Snorkelling trips to Menjangan are also offered, and certified divers can book a Glamp & Dive package that combines beach-camp accommodation at the resort with fun dives.
At the time of writing, two Menjangan Island or two Pemuteran dives cost IDR 1,925,000 per person, the PADI Open Water course IDR 7,900,000 and the Advanced Open Water course IDR 6,800,000, with one night and two fun dives on the Glamp & Dive package from IDR 3,100,000 (all quoted as valid until 31 March 2027, based on a minimum of two people). West Bali National Park entry fees are extra, and high-season surcharges apply to the Glamp & Dive package in July, August and over New Year. Details are from the operator's own website and official channels; check current rates before booking.
