Panorama Diver — PADI dive centre on Long Beach, Perhentian Kecil

Panorama Diver sits less than 100m from the Long Beach jetty on Perhentian Kecil, the smaller and livelier of the two islands, with its own fan and air-conditioned chalets and dormitories set back from the beach. Rooms are reserved for guests on dive packages, and course accommodation is included for the length of the course.

The centre teaches PADI programmes from Bubblemaker (age 8 and up) and Discover Scuba Diving through Open Water, Advanced, EFR, Rescue and Divemaster, along with specialities including Enriched Air (Nitrox), Wreck and Peak Performance Buoyancy. It dives more than 20 sites, including the Temple of the Sea, Shark Point and the Sugar Wreck.

At the time of writing, Discover Scuba Diving was listed at RM250, PADI Open Water at RM1,400 and an Open Water-to-Divemaster package at RM8,000. Bookings are handled by email and WhatsApp, and the centre asks guests to allow 24 hours for a reply because of patchy island reception.
