Bigfin Divers Semporna — PADI 5 Star centre at Bigfin Water Bungalow, Bum Bum Island

Bigfin Divers operates Bigfin Water Bungalow, overwater accommodation with a PADI 5 Star dive centre on Bum Bum Island off Semporna (the company also runs a separate beach resort at Kota Belud on Sabah's west coast). A rotating weekly schedule takes divers to Kapalai and Mabul, Mataking and Pandanan, Si Amil, Tun Sakaran and the Bum Bum reefs, with Sipadan days run in partnership with a permit-holding operator.

Courses cover Discover Scuba, PADI Open Water, Advanced, EFR and Rescue, specialities and Divemaster. Groups are kept small, with a stated instructor-to-student ratio of up to 1:4, and a minimum of two divers is needed for a trip to run.

At the time of writing, a three-dive day trip was listed at RM395 per person, PADI Open Water at RM1,600 and multi-day Sipadan packages from RM1,740 (accommodation not included), with discounts for in-house guests. Course prices include full equipment rental.
