Scuba Junkie Sipadan — PADI 5 Star IDC centre and eco resort on Mabul

Scuba Junkie has operated from Mabul Island since 2004 and bases its divers at its own Mabul Beach Resort, a short boat ride from Sipadan. The centre runs all-inclusive Sipadan dive packages alongside non-Sipadan trips to the reefs and muck sites of Mabul and Kapalai, plus seasonal Si Amil packages and a Sipadan–Sangalaki combination.

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre it teaches the full PADI ladder, from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water through Rescue and Divemaster to the Instructor Development Course. Sipadan highlights named by the operator include Barracuda Point, South Point and White Tip Avenue, with turtles, reef sharks and the well-known barracuda tornado among the draws.

Conservation is a central part of the business: a separate team on Mabul, SEAS, works on local marine protection, and guests are invited to make a voluntary RM50 donation that the company matches. At the time of writing, full equipment rental (excluding a dive computer) was listed at RM65 per day; package prices are quoted on request.
