Casa Escondida — Anilao PADI 5 Star IDC Resort

Casa Escondida ("the hidden house") is a 24-room oceanfront resort on the shore of Barangay Ligaya in Mabini, Batangas, with a pool, restaurant and a PADI Five Star IDC dive centre. Training runs from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water through Advanced, Rescue and Enriched Air to Divemaster, led by a team that includes a PADI Master Instructor.

Divers board boats from the resort's private jetty for Anilao's reef and macro sites, including Twin Rocks, Cathedral, Sombrero Island, Kirby's Rock, Anilao Pier and Ligpo Island; the resort claims access to more than 30 sites. Facilities include hot showers, a camera rinse station, full equipment rental and nitrox fills up to 40 per cent, and night dives are offered.

Dive packages range from single and night dives to two-dive boat trips with an optional third dive, but prices are not published online at the time of writing; the resort asks guests to enquire for dive and stay packages.
