Sea Bees Diving — Phuket dive centre with Similan day trips

Sea Bees Diving was founded in 1989 and is run under German management from its head office in Chalong, with further centres at Nai Yang and Khao Lak. It is an SSI training centre and instructor development centre, so courses run from entry level to professional, and the company has decades of experience on the Andaman coast.

From Phuket, its boat MV Excalibur runs a weekly rotation to Racha Yai, Racha Noi, Shark Point, Anemone Reef, Koh Doc Mai and Phi Phi. From Khao Lak, the 24-metre high-speed catamaran MC Stingray makes day trips to the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock, which suits divers who want the Similans without committing to a liveaboard. Multi-day Similan packages and liveaboard-style trips are also offered. Rental equipment and Nitrox tanks are available.

At the time of writing, Phuket day trips were listed from 4,200 THB and Similan day trips on MC Stingray from 5,600 THB, plus the Similan National Park fee of 700 THB per diver.
