
Blue Marlin Dive Gili Air is the Gili Air branch of Blue Marlin Dive, the group established in 1990 that also runs centres on Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, mainland Lombok and in Komodo. PADI lists it as a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, and its team speaks English, French and Indonesian.
Fun dives leave three times a day, at 9am, 11:30am and 2:30pm (twice on Fridays), returning to the dive centre between dives so you can choose which to join. The team picks sites a day or two ahead to suit conditions, from Shark Point, with reef sharks and the Glen Nusa wreck at about 30 metres, to Halik's coral formations and the turtles of Turtle Heaven, around all three Gili Islands.
PADI training runs from Bubblemaker, Discover Scuba Diving and refreshers through Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response to Deep, Wreck and Enriched Air Nitrox specialties, Divemaster and the Instructor Development Course, alongside conservation courses and internships. The resort has garden bungalows and deluxe double and twin rooms set around a pool and tropical gardens. At the time of writing a guided fun dive cost IDR 640,000.
