Dream Divers has been diving the Gili Islands since 1996, which makes it one of the longest-running dive centres in the area, and since 2014 it has been part of the Extra Divers Worldwide group. Its main base sits on Gili Trawangan's main beach, a few minutes' walk north of the harbour, with a swimming pool used for daily course training and the Dream Divers Resort directly behind the dive centre: 28 air-conditioned double and twin rooms set around a tropical garden, plus two deluxe sea-view rooms with balconies over the pool. The Burgerhouse restaurant is on site, and the team teaches in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Boats leave from the beach in front of the centre to more than 20 sites around the three Gilis, none more than 20 minutes away, including Shark Point, Manta Point, Frogfish Point and Air Wall. Morning dives brief at 9:30am and afternoon dives at 1:30pm, every dive is run as a drift dive with the boat following the group, and groups are capped at four divers per instructor or guide. The centre runs two boats, an aluminium speedboat and a traditional outrigger, each carrying oxygen and first aid, and has rental equipment, dive computers and torches for hire (book rental gear in advance).

Training mainly follows SSI standards, with PADI courses available on request, and runs from Discover Scuba and Scuba Diver through Open Water, Advanced, Nitrox, Rescue and specialties to Divemaster. Dream Divers has also been an Instructor Training Centre since December 2017. Daily return transfers are available for divers staying in Senggigi on Lombok, and the resort sells combined dive-and-stay offers.

On the centre's most recent published price list (2023), a fun dive cost IDR 590,000, a ten-dive package IDR 4,720,000, a night dive IDR 730,000 and the Open Water course IDR 6,400,000, with the Gili Eco Trust contribution (IDR 50,000) and marine park fee (IDR 100,000) payable in cash on top. Prices may have changed, so check current rates with the dive centre before you book.
