Scuba Junkie Komodo Beach Resort is the Indonesian Komodo base of Scuba Junkie, the dive company also known for its centres in Sipadan and Nusa Penida. The resort sits in the secluded bay of Warloka on the west coast of Flores, right on the border of Komodo National Park and about an hour to an hour and a half by boat from Labuan Bajo. There are no roads to the resort, so guests arrive on the resort's own wooden transfer boats, and the west-facing beach looks out to sunsets behind Komodo Island with Rinca Island close by.

Because the resort is already at the park boundary, the closest dive sites are less than ten minutes away and the boats aim to be in the water before the day-trip fleet from Labuan Bajo arrives. A typical day has three dives, with breakfast served on board and lunch between dives. Central sites such as Batu Bolong, Karang Makassar (Manta Point), Polis Point and the critter dives at Wainilu and Gindang are dived all year; the north (Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, Shotgun) is best from March to October and needs a minimum of four divers, and the south (Three Sisters, Secret Garden) is known for devil rays, frogfish and cooler water. Groups are capped at four divers and sorted by experience level.

The PADI 5 Star centre teaches Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water, Advanced, Rescue and EFR, specialties, Divemaster and the Instructor Development Course. Accommodation runs from AC ensuite rooms and fan or AC garden cottages to two four-bed dormitories opened in 2025, with a beach bar and restaurant. Scuba Junkie also runs the KLM Eliya liveaboard for trips to Komodo, Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea, and has announced daily dive trips from Labuan Bajo starting in September 2026. Conservation work includes plastic reduction, regular clean-ups, a Trash Hero branch in Warloka set up by its dive guides, and Shark, Manta and Marine awareness weeks with the Marine Megafauna Foundation.

Dive-and-stay packages include three dives a day, accommodation, meals, full dive equipment (excluding a dive computer) and return boat transfers from Labuan Bajo, with rates quoted as valid until 31 December 2026. Komodo National Park permits are extra (IDR 275,000 per day for divers at the time of writing) and, under the park's new daily visitor quota, are bought in advance by the resort. Details are from the operator's own website and official channels; check current rates before booking.
