Uber Scuba Komodo is a dive centre on Jalan Soekarno Hatta in Labuan Bajo, the gateway town to Komodo National Park on the western tip of Flores. It runs daily three-dive day trips into the park and SSI courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster, using three company-owned, custom-built wooden boats: KLM Iona, KLM Karina and the liveaboard KLM Amalia. Regulators and BCDs are ScubaPro and Mares, and the shop is open daily from 9am to 7pm.

Day trips head into the north and central park for Komodo's signature drift dives, reef sharks and manta cleaning stations, and a two-dive day can be combined with a ranger-guided Komodo dragon walk on Rinca. Non-diving companions can join as snorkellers. For longer trips, the Amalia runs 3, 4, 5 and 6 night itineraries covering the north, central and south of the park and Padar, with an early-morning dive at Crystal Rock, manta encounters in the central area, a Rinca trek, stand-up paddleboards and a beach barbecue. Cabins range from a bunk twin to a private en-suite and a family cabin for three.

At the time of writing, a three-dive day costs IDR 2,750,000, six dives over two days IDR 5,225,000 and twelve dives over four days IDR 9,900,000. The SSI Open Water course is IDR 8,400,000, SSI Advanced Adventurer IDR 7,800,000 and a six-week Divemaster IDR 32,500,000. Liveaboard trips start from IDR 16,900,000 per person for three nights in a twin cabin, with full board and equipment included. Komodo National Park fees (IDR 300,000 per diving day for foreigners) and dive insurance are extra. Check the website for current rates.
