Raja4Divers is a small dive and snorkelling resort built in traditional Papuan style on Pulau Pef, a private island in northern Raja Ampat. It takes a maximum of 24 divers, and its packages include up to four boat dives a day with no fuel surcharges, a maximum of four divers per guide, and independent diving on the house reef from the jetty.
The resort has more than 60 dive sites within a 5–70 minute boat ride, ranging from soft-coral and hard-coral gardens to critter sites and manta spots. The well-known Passage between Gam and Waigeo is close by, and trips to the Fam Islands are possible. Some sites have strong currents, so certified divers who can handle drift dives will get the most from a stay.
Photographers are well catered for, with an air-conditioned camera room and padded camera crates on all five dive boats. Rental BCDs, regulators, dive computers and lamps are available, and 32% nitrox is free for certified Enriched Air divers (subject to availability). Diving is for certified divers only, and the booking office is in Sorong.
