Pirates Diving Center traces its history back to 1994, when it began in Boracay before moving its operation to Coron. It describes itself as a five-star boutique centre working to ISO 24803 standards and teaches both PADI and SSI programmes, from Scuba Diver and Open Water through Advanced, Rescue and wreck and deep specialties to Divemaster.
Daily excursions leave around 8am on the company's own boat, The Black Revenge, and usually combine two Japanese WWII wrecks with a reef or lake dive. Wrecks on the roster include Akitsushima, Okikawa Maru, Kogyo Maru, Olympia Maru, Irako Maru, Morazan Maru, Taiei Maru, Nanshin Maru, the Lusong and East Tangat gunboats, the Skeleton Wreck and the Black Island wreck, alongside Barracuda Lake. Overnight dugong expeditions are also offered.
At the time of writing, the 2025/26 price guide listed a three-dive wreck day trip at USD 100 (PHP 5,500) including park fees, guide and lunch, equipment hire at USD 15 per day, and the Open Water course at USD 430.
