Neptune Diving Resort sits right on the water at Panagsama Beach, Moalboal, with a sister operation in Santander at the southern tip of Cebu. The Moalboal base is a small nine-room resort with its own restaurant, and the dive centre is a PADI Five Star Instructor Development Resort with an in-house Course Director, so training runs from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water through Rescue, a long list of specialties and on to Divemaster and the IDC.
The headline attraction is the sardine shoal on the house reef, followed by Pescador Island and its cavern known as the Cathedral. The team also visits Talisay Point, Tongo Point, Kasai Wall, White Beach, Dolphin House, a sunken Cessna (the Airplane Wreck), and the deeper Sunken Island pinnacle for experienced divers. Sunset shore dives for mandarinfish are a favourite with photographers, and nitrox and night dives are on the menu.
At the time of writing, the published Moalboal price list showed a guided boat dive with full equipment and marine fee at PHP 1,800 (PHP 1,400 for the dive alone), nitrox dives at PHP 2,100 all-in, and the PADI Open Water Diver course at PHP 21,950. Check the operator's website for current rates.
